Auditions

Video submissions. 

• Record yourself (or have someone record you) playing your instrument so that both you and the instrument are visible in the video for the entire video. 

• Upload the video to YouTube and share the link with elizabeth@unionsymphony.org. The name of the video should be your name - instrument. (ex: "Jane Smith - Cello") 

• YouTube is free and included with gmail/google accounts 

• The specifics of how to upload a video are slightly different depending on the operating system and type of device you are using. Look at WikiHow and YouTube for instructions. 

• When selecting the visibility level from the "Privacy" menu, select "Unlisted" so that we will be able to see it but it will not be public. 

• Do not simply copy the link. Click "get sharable link" and share that link with manager@spyouth.org. 

• Please email manager@spyouth.org if you have any difficulty or questions. 

• You will receive a notification that we received your video and that it is viewable.
